Dear editor RE: `Open minds appeal over maternity services' (Mercury, March 16).
As project manager of the review group which has been looking at NHS services in Pembrokeshire and further afield, Allison Williams has appealed to the public to come to the promised consultation process with an "open mind."
She pledges that people's views will be taken into account.
However, the project group members have already closed their minds to one option - the status quo.
Ms Williams adds that change is essential to provide safe, high quality services...and that "change must be for the better."
